Learning with Improv

What do we mean learning using improv?

Improvisation in theatre is basically making stuff up on the spot – no script, no safety net, and often no idea what’s about to happen next.

To be good at improv, you need to listen properly, build on other people’s ideas, adapt quickly, support your teammates, accept what’s thrown at you, create something from nothing, and tell a great story as you go.

Obviously, those are exactly the skills that make people brilliant at work, too. So when we use improv exercises and games, it’s not about turning you into actors or performers – it’s about helping you sharpen the core skills that drive success in your career. You’re learning the same shortcuts improvisors use to think on their feet and be creative!

Our sessions can run from 1 hour to 3 hours at a time, with the option to do multiple modules to build the muscle over the course of a whole programme. Rates overleaf.
